Yes, please. If we’ve never worked together before, I’ll ask for a 50% deposit before I start writing – just until we’ve built up trust. I’ll invoice the remaining 50% once you’re happy with the copy. I’m sure you’re great and always pay on time, but as a freelancer who relies on prompt payment to cover my bills, I need to protect myself.
