Need a little more convincing? No worries! Many of the projects I’ve worked on are tied up in NDAs, but take a look at some of the projects I can share with you through my writing portfolio below:
WEBSITE COPY & LANDING PAGES
I’ve just pulled out a small selection of the web pages I most recently created copy for. There’s plenty more where these came from, so if you need to see more, just drop me a message and I’ll see what I can dig out.
Drum with Alex
Drum teacher Alex recently approached me needing copy for his new website. He wanted to shout about his new online lessons and asked me to develop a conversational tone that matched his own.
Visual Muse is a new, dynamic branding agency that works with some of the world’s most exciting talent. After a period of rapid growth, the team needed website copy that highlights exactly what they do in simple, minimalistic terms to reflect their aesthetic. The design and layout’s changed since I wrote the copy (and there’s a bit of repetition), but it gives you a taste of my work.
I spent over five years working at FatFace creating content for their digital channels. But as a fast-paced retail business, web pages were frequently chopped and changed, meaning most of them are long gone. One page that’s still around is the Covid-19 FAQs, which I was asked to edit to reflect the brand’s tone of voice, reassuring customers of the implemented safety measures to build trust and reassurance.
One of the last projects I worked on for FatFace was the careers page, which we created to encourage new talent to join the team.
Art of Integration
Art of Integration asked me to refresh their service pages to incorporate some of the new home systems on offer. The tone of voice was already established, so I had to tap into the style so that my copy blended seamlessly into the original pages.
I’m not kidding – I’ve written far more blog posts than I dare to count. These are just some of my most recent favourites.
Monocrhome (not a typo) is a seriously stylish black-and-white indie boutique that sells hand-crafted pieces made by talented craftspeople. I’ve been creating content for a little while now, writing blog posts and product descriptions that emphasise the quality of each bespoke accessory.
The Little Botanical
The Little Botanical reached out to me looking for a copywriter to help write content for their blog. This is a relatively new gig, but so far so good.
Not only did I help set up the blog, but I managed the content plan and regularly wrote and edited product, sustainability and lifestyle stories.
Alongside web copy and blogs, my work has featured in a few magazines. Not only did I write the stories, but I pitched the ideas to the editors.
In The Snow Magazine
While on season in Tignes, I wrote a series of columns for In The Snow Magazine, the UK’s most-read ski mag, about my experiences on the slopes.
The Good Trade
The Good Trade is a leading resource for those looking to live a more inspired and intentional life. I had a few article ideas that I pitched and were accepted.
Thanks for checking out my writing portfolio. Like what you see? You’re too kind! Get in touch and let’s chat about your upcoming project.
